Official Language The official conference language is English. Passports and Visas All visitors travelling to Croatia must be in a possession of a valid passport. City harbor, bus station and train station are located in the city center. Airport is located about 20 kilometers from Split. From the airport to the town a bus-shuttle, which takes about 20 minutes, operates for regular flights (http://www.split-airport.hr/kako-do-nas.html). One Euro is approximately equivalent to 7 – 7.5 HRK (for the exact value, plase see: http://www.hnb.hr/tecajn/htecajn.htm). Foreing currency can be easily exchanged at banks and exchange offices, travel agencies, post offices, hotels and airports. Credit cards are generally accepted in hotels and restaurants, but be sure to ask before you order. You can also use ATMs to get cash. Many banks have ATMs in front of their buildings.
