Official Language The official conference language is English. Passports and Visas All visitors travelling to Croatia must be in a possession of a valid passport. City harbor, bus station and train station are located in the city center. Airport is located about 20 kilometers from Split. There is some possibility of the rain in this period of the year. For more details, please see this page. Currency and Credit Cards The currency in Croatia is Croatian Kuna (HRK). One Euro is approximately equivalent to 7 – 7.5 HRK (for the exact value, plase see: http://www.hnb.hr/tecajn/htecajn.htm). Foreing currency can be easily exchanged at banks and exchange offices, travel agencies, post offices, hotels and airports. Credit cards are generally accepted in hotels and restaurants, but be sure to ask before you order. You can also use ATMs to get cash. Many banks have ATMs in front of their buildings.
