Scope



Advances in nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy. Theory of NMR and applications of modern NMR techniques in pharmaceutical research, medicine, organic and bioorganic chemistry.

The city of Dubrovnik can be reached by air from Zagreb and some other European cities, by (frequent) buses from Zagreb, Rijeka and Split, by boat from the ports of Rijeka and Split, or by boat from Italy.

The city of DubrovnikA collective flights from Zagreb to Dubrovnik (round trip) at discount price will be organized by our travel agent. The plane leaves Zagreb on Saturday, June 24 and on Sunday, June 25, 2000.

Registration Form



The enclosed registration form should be received by the organizer by May 15, 2000.




Registration Fee



The registration fee of USD 150,00 should be paid by May 15, 2000. When paid after an additional amount of USD 50,00 should be added to the fee.

A number of fellowships will be granted. Those who need financial support are encouraged to apply for it.

Abstract



Participants should send the abstract(s) either in the form of MS Word document(any version) as an e-mail attachment or as a hard copy. The margins of 2.5 cm and Times New Roman font (1.5 line spacing; size 12) are recommended. The abstract should not exceed two typewritten page. The deadline is May 15, 2000.




Proceedings



All participants are invited to submit papers which will be published in the special issue of Croatica Chemica Acta (CCA is SCI/CC journal) devoted to The Third International Dubrovnik NMR Course and Conference (DU'2000 NMR). Manuscripts in which NMR is used for identification and analysis of new compounds, mechanisms,etc. are also encouraged.

Manuscripts will undergo normal peer review procedure of CCA. Instructions to Authors could be found at the WWW page given above.

The participants are encouraged to submit their papers before meeting or upon their arrival in Dubrovnik. Those unable to attend are invited to send their manuscripts to the organizer by mail.
